Queensland Health has been requested to coordinate the development and implementation of statewide Clinical Prioritisation Criteria (CPC). A draft CPC for Respiratory and Sleep Medicine had been developed by a Clinical Advisory Group including medical specialists, General Practitioners, nursing and allied health professionals. The Clinical Advisory Group has been led by Dr Michael Bint, Director of Respiratory Medicine at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Queensland Health is seeking broader stakeholder consultation on the clinical content of the draft Respiratory and Sleep Medicine CPC. The document only includes conditions relating to adults. A paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine CPC will be developed at a later date. The consultation overview is also available to assist in providing an overview during the CPC development and consultation process.
Feedback can be submitted via email to Katie Wykes at email@example.com by COB Thursday 25 October 2018.
Please note that this is not the final format of the CPC. The CPC website shows the online format of CPC that have already been developed.
