An under-recognised form of control and abuse over Australian women.

Sabotaging contraception, pressuring/forcing women to become pregnant, pressuring/forcing women to terminate a pregnancy or continue an unwanted pregnancy are all forms of reproductive coercion (RC). GP’s and nurses working in primary care are very likely to have encountered patients experiencing RC.

We need GP’s help in understanding how to respond to RC in Australian primary care. Participation involves a once off 20-30 minute interview with a researcher discussing your thoughts and experiences. Please contact Molly molly.wellington@unimelb.edu.au to participate, or for more information.
