Working Together Differently – Brisbane South Mental Health, Suicide Prevention and Alcohol and Other Drug Foundation Plan 2020–2022
Brisbane South PHN in partnership with Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS) have developed the Working Together Differently – Brisbane South Mental Health, Suicide Prevention and Alcohol and Other Drug Foundation Plan 2020-2022. The Foundation Plan is the framework for how Brisbane South PHN and MSAMHS will work together in the short term to lay the foundations for working together differently in the future. The Foundation Plan describes the key actions and agreed priorities for new and joint services and service planning for the future and provides the link between the work undertaken by the partners on the priority strategic domains of the Brisbane South Mental Health, Suicide Prevention and Alcohol and Other Drug Strategy 2019-2022. The Foundation Plan will inform future collaboration with a commitment to developing a comprehensive 5-year Joint Regional Plan by June 2022.

Needs Assessment
Each year Brisbane South PHN prepares a ‘Needs Assessment’ in partnership with Metro South Health, Children’s Health Queensland, Mater Health Services and the local community.
Health professionals, people who work in the health sector and members of the Brisbane South community are invited to participate in improving local health outcomes. Brisbane South PHN will use the confidential responses to ensure the Needs Assessment reflects a collaborative approach in accordance with the organisation’s vision of ‘Better System, Better Health’.
