Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2021

In the spirit of reconciliation, partnership and mutual respect, Brisbane South PHN works with First Nations peoples to shape a health system which responds to the needs and aspirations of our communities.

We work to support all First Nations peoples in our region to live well and experience care that is culturally safe, connected, high-quality and easy to access. Our goal is to enable optimal health, development and wellbeing across all stages of life.

View our 2021 AGM online as we share our work to deliver on this goal – alongside the insights and expertise of our First Nations partners.

Celebrating First Nations health workers

Primary Health Impact launch

We are delighted to bring you the first edition of our new tri-annual publication, Primary Health Impact magazine.

In each edition, we’ll shine a light on challenges affecting the health of the communities we serve and explore the ways we are partnering to address them.

In this edition, we focus on First Nations health:

  • The Gift of Gallang – uplifting young people at risk of self-harm and suicide
  • Closing the Gap in aged care with ‘Balgah binay’ Healthy Ageing Hub, Inala Wangarra
  • First Nations Health Focus – a new online directory to search and find culturally safe health care in our region, and more…

We hope you enjoy reading and feel inspired by the collaboration and progress happening in our community. Your feedback is always valued, contact us at communication@bsphn.org.au to let us know your thoughts.
