JobKeeper payment
Made to eligible businesses and not-for-profits affected by COVID-19 to support them in retaining employees.

Cash flow support
For small and medium businesses that employ staff to help with their cash flow so they can keep operating, pay their rent, electricity and other bills and retain staff.

Primary Care Package
Practice Incentive Payment for general practices that open for face-to-face services for a minimum of four hours a day (or for part time practices for an average of 50% of their normal practice opening hours).

Temporary relief for financially stressed businesses
For owners or directors of business that are currently struggling due to COVID-19.

Backing business investment
Supports business investment and economic growth over the short term by accelerating depreciation deductions.

Established within The Treasury to engage with businesses on a regular basis and provide updates to the government on crucial issues.

Translated COVID-19 resources

Many practices and organisations have been looking for COVID-19 resources in a variety of languages.

Queensland Health has released translated resources for Queensland-specific COVID-19 information in 31 languages. You can access the resources here. New resources will be added as they continue to be developed. The most accurate and credible information regarding COVID-19 is issued from Department of Health (State and Commonwealth) sources. Please be mindful that some resources developed by other states have state-specific information.

Free Interpreting Service for GPs, Medical Specialists and Pharmacists

General Practitioners and approved Medical Specialists and Pharmacists can access the Free Interpreting Service through TIS National when delivering Medicare‑rebateable services in private practice to anyone with a Medicare card. Practice support staff, nurses or pharmacists working with practitioners and registered with TIS National can also access the service using the same client code. Working with professional interpreters is essential to ensuring practitioners are able to communicate effectively with their patients and are protected from professional risk.
