ENACT: Environmental enrichment for infants; parenting with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

A clinical trial is currently underway to test a new early intervention approach, called “ENACT”, that aims to improve outcomes for parents and babies. We are inviting mothers currently pregnant with a baby who has a first-degree relative diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (i.e. baby’s parent or sibling) to participate. Families will be randomly allocated to take part in ENACT or to receive care as usual. All families will receive a report from our developmental paediatrician detailing their child’s 12-month developmental assessment free of charge. To find out more, please contact us at uqenact@uq.edu.au or (07) 3069 7547. You can visit the study website at: https://qcprrc.centre.uq.edu.au/project/enact.
