Activities are central to the livelihood of all people. For people with dementia, regardless of the stage of the disease, the need for activities is no exception.
Activities are essential for a person with dementia to engage in and provide many benefits. Planning can help to maximise success in engaging clients and residents in activities and therefore enhance quality of life for the person.
This workshop, delivered by Alzheimer’s Queensland, gives participants the theory to develop meaningful activities and important considerations for engaging people with dementia.
