Australian Academy of Health and Medical Science invites the Queensland medical and science community to the inaugural Queensland Clinical Science Symposium at the Translational Research Institute.
The program will focus on inspiring and encouraging junior doctors, medical students and researchers to pursue excellence in clinical practice and medical research. The symposium will be a one-day event, featuring many of Queensland’s best clinician-scientists. There will also be presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities over lunch, tea, happy hour plus a research expo.
Medical students, research students, interns, and junior doctors from Bond University, Griffith University, the University of Queensland, and many clinical sites all over Queensland are encouraged to join.
The symposium is run entirely by students. It has four convenors — Cody Frear, Anthea Gibbons, Guy Helman, and Emily Sneath all are medical students and research higher degree candidates at the University of Queensland.
