Cancer Council Queensland is holding a free, two-day Caring for Our Community Program in Springfield for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people working in the health field.
This is a two-day program to enhance the role, knowledge and practice of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers in cancer care, prevention, screening and early detection, and end of life care. Male and female health workers are encouraged to apply. Participants will need to arrange leave with their employer to attend the course.

The course is provided at no cost. Applicants are encouraged to apply for financial assistance (bursary) to assist in covering travel and accommodation costs to attend the course.
