Brisbane South PHN has partnered with The Benchmarque Group to offer an exciting new course in immunisation, tailored for people where immunisation is part of their day-to-day scope of practice.
The Course in Immunisation Practice in Primary Healthcare is designed to provide learners (clinicians) with the specific skills and knowledge that will enable them to perform a range of comprehensive immunisation services and remain up-to-date with current programs, changes, and requirements relevant to their scope of practice.
This course includes:
online learning modules and assessments,
a half-day face-to-face workshop and
The course is available to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, GPs and others on application. A minimum of 3 months employment or experience working with clients in primary healthcare is also required.
Registration: To register you can choose
one face-to-face workshop date or
elect to start the online learning modules immediately, and choose a date later.
If you are selecting a face-to-face workshop date at enrolment, please allow enough time to have completed the online learning modules 14 days prior to your workshop start date (estimated hours of study is 30 hours).
Workshops will be held: Saturday 15 February, Friday 20 March, Thursday 30 April, Saturday 16 May and Saturday 6 June 2020.
