The information session aims to provide BSPHN region with information and gather stakeholder insights to help inform the next step stage of co-design, your voice and insights are important to help improve and compliment service delivery to meet the needs of victim-survivors within our region

Session 1:    Supporting the Primary Care sector response to Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence Pilot

To support victims and survivors of family, domestic and sexual violence, and child sex abuse to navigate the health system to prevent and respond to child sex abuse; to provide increased support to primary care providers to assist in the early identification and intervention of family, domestic and sexual violence and child sex abuse, and ensure coordinated referrals to support services.

Session 2:  Supporting Recovery – A pilot program to provide trauma-informed recovery care for victim-survivors of family, domestic and sexual violence

Trauma-informed Recovery Care pilot program, to pilot multidisciplinary care teams and a model of care to delivering trauma-informed mental health therapies designed to meet the needs of victim-survivors.

• Start and end time 12:30pm-2:00 pm
