Clinicians in Drug and Alcohol settings play an important role in improving the health outcomes of people living with hepatitis C through early diagnosis, appropriate management of co-morbidities and treatment with curative Direct Acting Antiviral medication (DAAs). This workshop is designed to support clinical staff working in drug & alcohol settings, or with people who inject drugs, to treat patients living with hepatitis C. It is being held as a part in-service at Logan Central – Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Service. Health practitioners working outside this service are welcome and encouraged to attend.
