This full-day dual-platform – Workshop/Webinar is designed to assist social workers, child protection workers, psychologists, counsellors and community workers to develop a better understanding of adults, children and families with traumatic histories and to enhance their skills in working with this client group. The course is based on Attachment theory and is informed by evidence based trauma related material.

This is relevant for social workers who have direct client contact with clients who have experienced complex trauma and attachment disruptions. The education material in the presentation is based on theoretical knowledge that is gleaned from attachment and trauma experts such as Dan Siegal, Bruce Perry, Bryan Post and Circle of Security.
