Futures Lab Challenge 2 : Keeping emergency health care services for emergencies

Metro South Health is seeking your help to find solutions to our greatest challenges. We invite you to work with the Metro South Health Futures Lab team, patients, community and staff to inject fresh thinking into solving health service challenges. The second challenge for the Metro South Health Futures Lab is now open – Keeping emergency health care services for emergencies

Emergency departments and the Queensland Ambulance Service are under pressure to provide urgent care to our most critically unwell patients. GPs and other health professionals in the community have a wide range of skills and equipment to treat patients with less urgent needs, but this is not widely known or understood. Many patients seek the help of emergency health care services when they could be seen elsewhere. Share your thoughts and ideas about our current challenge by visiting the Ideas Jam and register your details. You can also show your support for someone else’s idea by voting or adding to the idea. The jam closes Friday 23 August 2019.
