Are you a practice nurse looking for a free CPD opportunity and want to make a difference in health outcomes for the 1 in 3 Australians at increased risk of chronic kidney disease (CKD)? We are looking for general practice nurses to participate in a randomised controlled trial evaluating an infographic poster compared to an e-learning program to improve knowledge related to CKD risk factors and screening practices. Depending which group you are randomised to, we expect that this will take no longer than 30 minutes to complete. A CPD certificate will be awarded upon completion for your professional portfolio.
If you are interested in participating, please click on this link www.ckddetect.com to access the participant information statement and study registration page. All of the surveys are anonymous, however you will be required to provide your name and email address so we can register you for the trial and send you your CPD certificate on completion. If you have any questions about this research, you can contact the researcher at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This project is endorsed by Kidney Health Australia and considers evidenced based screening practices and practical real world solutions to initiating CKD screening in the general practice setting.
