Brisbane South PHN is proud to announce a new mental health program for children and young people in the Brisbane south region.

The Redlands Child and Youth, Severe and Complex Mental Health Service was launched on Thursday 5 April by Minister for Rural Health Senator Bridget McKenzie and Member for Bowman Andrew Laming MP.

The program is an intensive mental health service for young people aged between 8 and 25-years-old with, or at risk of, severe or complex mental health issues.

Minister McKenzie said the program will “better support these young people to get the help they need at a time when they are at their most vulnerable”.
