COVID-19 resources for primary health care

Brisbane South PHN is supporting our general practices to prepare for and help limit the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in our region. We are working with government, peak bodies and the Metro South Hospital and Health Service to deliver timely and accurate information, and are committed to working with you to ensure our primary health care workers are informed, supported and equipped to deliver safe, high-quality health care to our communities in regard to COVID-19.

Access to Healthdirect Video Call services now available
In response to COVID-19, many services are using telehealth to deliver care. Brisbane South PHN is pleased to provide health providers* with complimentary access to Healthdirect Video Call service until June 2020.

*Eligibility criteria: all health providers that bulk bill MBS telehealth items can access Healthdirect Video Call

About HealthDirect Video Call
Healthdirect Video Call is a secure platform that allows healthcare providers to offer their services via a video consultation. Video Call provides a single consistent entry point on the service’s webpage for all patients (link to waiting room can also be emailed), where they enter an online waiting area for their appointment.
