Residential Aged Care Workforce COVID-19 Vaccination in Brisbane South

All residential aged care workers are required to have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 17 September 2021.

Because you are a high priority in the vaccination rollout, there are now new vaccination locations and options available in the Brisbane south region. See below for the three new pathways available for you to get vaccinated in time.

Your local vaccinating GP or pharmacy

You will also be prioritised when booking an appointment directly with your local COVID-19 vaccinating general practice or community pharmacy – just let them know you are an RACF worker. You can find locations through the eligibility checker (covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au), but may need to book by phone to ensure they can prioritise you.

Important:

Wherever you decide to get your vaccination, you are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, regardless of your age. Remember to bring along proof that you work at a residential aged care facility (like a payslip or staff card), photo identification, and your Medicare card if you have one.

Thank you to all our aged care workers for getting vaccinated and playing a critical role in keeping our older communities safe.
