Event description

The Metro South GP Maternity Shared Care Team is excited to announce they will be hosting an evening event as part of our Alignment 1 Program:

Tuesday 18 February 6.30 pm to 9 pm

This session is tailored for practitioners that provide maternity care to families within Logan, Beaudesert, and Redland catchments. This education evening will give you the opportunity to discuss your cases with Obstetricians, Midwives, Obstetric Medicine Specialists, and your GP colleagues. Please bring cases for discussion or email details to GPLO_Maternity_Share_Care@health.qld.gov.au before the event. The event will focus on Medical Conditions in the Perinatal Period, including:
• Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM)
• Diabetes in Pregnancy
• Hypertension in Pregnancy Recommended pre-reading will be circulated in the fortnight prior.

Format

This year the AM1 program will be presented as a series of evening events in the first half of the year. The sessions will be open to all practitioners who deliver maternity care, but GPs must attend at least 3 events to be recognised as MSHHS aligned.

The Brisbane South Private Hospital, Paxton St, Springwood 4127.
