Join us and help make a difference to the health of our communities
At Brisbane South PHN, we recognise the strengths and value of diversity that makes our people unique and welcome all people to apply. We are proud of our ways of working by supporting one another as well as working collaboratively toward a common goal; working with health professional and communities to understand our region’s health and wellbeing needs and commission services that directly respond to these needs.
We believe in a supporting culture to strive to be the very best at what we do. We believe happy employees are successful employees.
Our culture
Our people are our greatest asset. We foster a positive, collaborative work environment guided by our core values: respect, courage, integrity, equity, collaboration, and excellence. These principles inform our decision-making and shape our relationships with partners and the community.
Brisbane South PHN is committed to and has a long history of working towards reconciliation with First Nations people, including through our successive Reconciliation Action Plans. We are also a Rainbow Tick accredited organisation (LGBTIQA+) and championed the introduction of the PHN Multicultural Health Framework to better engage with and commission health programs for culturally and linguistically diverse people and communities.
All these efforts are unified under our Health Access and Equity Framework, guiding our priorities and ensuring continuous improvement in how we work with diverse and underrepresented groups to support better health outcomes across our region.
