Prevention At Brisbane South PHN, we highly encourage practices to actively involve in continuous quality improvement activity. This continuous QI activity allows practice to help patients to understand their CVD risk, promotes patient engagement and ultimately leading to better care and better health outcome.

Screening Brisbane South PHN recommends all practices regularly check and participate in training about current screening guidelines for breast cancer, cervical cancer, bowel cancer and lung cancer.

Immunisation Brisbane South PHN supports general practices and primary care vaccine providers to increase immunisation coverage across our region. This is achieved through the National Immunisation Program (NIP), the Queensland Immunisation Program, and our tailored ImmunisationPlus support program.
