Health workforce gaps: Have your say!
Every year, Health Workforce Queensland (HWQ) undertakes the state’s only Health Workforce Needs Assessment (HWNA) across remote, rural and regional Queensland.
This helps HWQ and other stakeholders understand the challenges affecting primary healthcare and develop sustainable solutions.

Australian Cancer Nursing and Navigation Program (ACNNP) and the Cancer Patient Support Program (CPSP) Evaluation
The Australian Cancer Nursing and Navigation Program is seeking feedback from primary healthcare providers, allied health professionals and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers on Government-funded cancer information, navigation and support services.
This survey asks for your opinion on what is working well and what could be improved in these services. Your answers will help show whether the program services:
meet people’s needs
are based on good evidence
support the goals of the Australian Cancer Plan.
All responses are anonymous and go straight to an independent evaluator.

Secure Transfer Service (STS) Address Book — Have you updated your contact details?
Metro South Health wishes to remind clinicians and practice managers to update the STS Address Book every time there is a change to staff members at your clinic.
The Secure Transfer Service (STS) Address Book contains healthcare listings, practitioner and provider information. Public hospitals use this address book to know where to send important clinical information, such as discharge summaries and clinical letters, to general practitioners (GPs).
STS Address Book benefits GPs and primary healthcare workers through:
the ability to receive important clinical information electronically, improving communication of discharge, outpatient letters, and pathology results
secure transfer of referrals
supporting GP registration to the Health Provider Portal, which provides GPs access to patient medical records from all Queensland Health public facilities.
