GP Dinner event — Beyond the Consultation: Practical Approaches to Patient Management 

General practitioners (GPs) and practice managers are invited to join colleagues over dinner to gain practical strategies for equity, population health, and value-based care from global leaders in healthcare reform, Dr Kirsten Meisinger and Dr Walid Jammal. Limited seats remain so secure yours today!

Update your immunisation visual tools 

On 1 September 2025, Prevenar 20 replaced Prevenar 13 and Pneumovax 23 on the childhood schedule. 

To support you and your practice, there are new immunisation visual tools. 

Please make sure you replace any resources you have in your practice. Any questions, please email [email protected]. 

Checking if a patient is registered for MyMedicare via My Health Record 

Did you know that you can check a patient’s MyMedicare registration details, including registration date and preferred GP, using My Health Record?  

This information is accessible via My Health Record in your clinical software, or via the National Provider Portal. 

To access patients' MyMedicare details from your clinical software: 

  • Best Practice users can refer to the step-by-step instructions here.  

  • MedicalDirector users can view patient details within the “My Health Record View” tab, if the patient has registered. Further information about this is found here
