Program Support Officer — Resource Development

This role will support the enhancement of the General Practice Quality Improvement program to update the primary care QI resources in line with the program strategic objectives. A typical day may involve:

  • Update, implement and review quality improvement resources to a publishable standard
  • Identify and gather pertinent information from primary care and other relevant stakeholders for the enhancement of resource content
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a planned approach to engagement and support across the Brisbane south region.

This is a part time (2 days a week) fixed term contract until 30 June 2024.

General Practice Quality Improvement Support Officer

This role will support the General Practice Quality Improvement team to implement evidence based continuous quality improvement to primary care providers in the Brisbane south region.  

A typical day may involve:

  • support the GPQI team to build the capability of general practice teams to improve health outcomes.
  • maintain currency of related program content and information including but not limited to resources, webpages, communication collateral.
  • support practices not enrolled in the program to access and participate in quality improvement resources and tools available from the PHN.
  • collecting, collating and communicating all relevant information to the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.

This is a full-time fixed term contract until 30 June 2024 (however, part time options will be considered).

General Practice Quality Improvement Support Officer — Prevention (2 positions available)

Brisbane South PHN has an exciting opportunity to become part of our dynamic Quality Improvement team.  This role will support general practices in the Brisbane south region to adapt and use the integration of Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) & National Cancer Screening Register (NCSR) into the practices clinical software. A typical day may involve:

  • planning, coordinating, facilitating and delivering support to general practices to implement these portals
  • understanding, communicating and promoting the role of the PHN with general practice
  • working collaboratively with team members to ensure a planned approach to engagement and support across the Brisbane south region.

This is a full-time fixed term contract until 22 December 2023 (however, part time options will be considered).

Program Manager — First Nations Partnerships and Integration

The Program Manager – First Nations Partnerships and Integration, will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the First Nations Program Portfolio. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by facilitating local solutions to improve equitable and culturally appropriate care for First Nations people.

As the Program Manager – First Nations Partnerships and Integration, you will lead the broader organisational engagement, strategy, capability building and responses regarding key areas including oversight of our Reconciliation Action Plan, First Nations equity approaches, commissioning, and partnerships. The position will also lead internal capability building to ensure culturally safe commissioning and relationships with community-controlled organisations, elders and First Nations communities to address key barriers to improved health outcomes for First Nations communities.

Community Engagement Lead — Beaudesert region

In this role you will lead the overall co-production of a community focused initiative, working closely with the Beaudesert and surrounding communities and sector partners. 

This role is responsible for overseeing the coordination of projects, and activities, ongoing planning, and leads the community engagement and capacity building strategies to ensure a sustainable community driven approach.

This position will also build the capability and capacity of the internal and external teams to build and grow community-based practice. 

This is a full-time fixed term role to 30 June 2024 with the possibility of extension.
