Local referral pathways and clinical resources
HealthPathways offers localised patient referral pathways information and clinical guidance. Written by GPs and specialists, for GPs, the free online platform is designed to help you navigate local patient care pathways at the point-of-care.
Smart Referrals is a digital referral system able to be integrated into practice management software for faster, streamlined management of referrals to Queensland's public hospitals and health services.

GP liaison officer (GPLO) program
Metro South Health’s GP liaison officers (GPLOs) help GPs refer patients to local public hospitals. GPLOs also train GPs who want to work with their maternity services in shared care. Learn more by visiting the Metro South Health website.
Patient transport services
Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) offers non-emergency transport to health services for eligible patients.
