Tailored for general practitioners that provide care to women within Logan, Beaudesert, and Redland catchments, the education session will give you the opportunity to discuss gynaecology cases with MSHHS Gynaecologists, a women’s health physiotherapist and your GP colleagues.

A practical session will demonstrate common gynaecological procedures, allow inspection of a range of vaginal pessaries, and try out the IUD insertion simulator. Implanon insertions can be practised on the models, noting that accredited Implanon insertion training will be offered later in the year.

The event will focus on:

• Heavy Menstrual Bleeding
• Abnormal Cervical Screening Test Management (new guidelines for follow up since April 2025)
• Pelvic Floor Prolapse
• Incontinence - Urinary
