Coming soon! New personal HealthPathways accounts for clinicians

From Tuesday 18 November 2025, Brisbane South HealthPathways will introduce personal accounts.

Clinicians will be able to create their own individual HealthPathways accounts, designed to make the HealthPathways experience more rewarding, convenient and powerful.

This update means the generic username and password used across our region to access HealthPathways will soon become obsolete. Read on for more information on how to prepare for this update.

Benefits of the new, personal accounts for HealthPathways users

Your personal account will enable easier CPD reporting, smart AI search, and enhanced security features.

Once a personal account has been created, HealthPathways users will be able to make use of new features, including:

  • the ability to automatically log your HealthPathways usage and generate Continuous Professional Development (CPD) reports at any time for easier CPD reporting

  • simplified access for clinicians working across different PHN regions/hospital and health service catchment areas. This means these clinicians will be able to access all their approved HealthPathways sites with a single login, rather than logging on to separate regional sites to identify local services for their patients

  • improved search accuracy.

How will this change affect you?

From Tuesday 18 November 2025, all current HealthPathways users will be logged out while security and authentication systems upgrade.

To regain access, users can create a personal account. This takes approximately 2 minutes.

Please note, new accounts may take up to 5 minutes to activate. We recommend registering for your new account before your first patient consultation of the day.

The current generic login details will still be available for a short time afterwards.
