Brisbane South PHN’s General Practice Quality Improvement Pneumococcal Toolkit, has been updated to reflect the recent changes to the adult pneumococcal vaccination schedule.
The updated toolkit provides practical resources to support patient identification, vaccination decision-making and implementation in everyday practice.

Resolve MyMedicare, HPOS, PRODA and Organisation Register issues faster online
Services Australia's Health Professional Education (HPE) resources provide step-by-step guidance, videos and training to help general practices resolve most MyMedicare, Organisation Register, PRODA and HPOS issues without needing to contact the Helpdesk.
The HPE resources are updated regularly and should be your first point of reference, as they provide the quickest way to resolve common administrative and system issues.
Topics covered include:
Organisation Register setup, including linking providers, practice sites and banking details.
HPOS navigation, including checking MyMedicare eligibility, accepting or declining patient registrations, and updating practice preferences.
PRODA troubleshooting, identity verification and managing delegated staff access.
Accreditation status updates and how they are applied in the Organisation Register.
MyMedicare administration, including initiating and accepting patient registrations, withdrawing patients and checking provider eligibility. Practices can resolve most MyMedicare, Organisation Register, PRODA and HPOS issues faster through self-service, using the dedicated Health Professional Education (HPE) resources and step-by-step online guidance provided by Services Australia.
