Important updates
Learn more about the upcoming Bulk Billing Practice Incentive program (BBPIP)
General practitioners (GPs) and general practice staff are invited to attend a webinar, hosted by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, on the upcoming expansion of bulk billing incentives to all Medicare-eligible Australians and the Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program (BBPIP).
Practices can register for 1 of 2 webinars held on Tuesday 12 August 2025 (2 - 3 pm or 6:30 -7:30 pm).

IAR
The Initial Assessment and Referral – Decision Support Tool (IAR-DST) for mental healthcare assists health professionals to decide the most appropriate level of care for a person seeking mental health support. Brisbane South PHN is offering free training on the effective use of the IAR-DST and how it can be implemented into practice. Visit the Brisbane South PHN website to learn more and to register for IAR training.
Audience: Training is designed for the health workforce involved in the mental health assessment and referral process including GPs, GP registrars, other clinicians, intake teams, mental health commissioned providers and service providers.
This is an RACGP and ACRRM approved CPD activity
