Protect your older patients from COVID-19 — participate in a free SMS recall opportunity for your practice
General practices can express their interest to participate in the COVID-19 vaccination recall activity to help identify and recall eligible patients who are aged 65 years and over and are due for a COVID-19 vaccination. Recent data from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing shows low booster uptake among older Australians, highlighting the importance of proactive patient recalls.
The recall activity is run in partnership with Brisbane South PHN and GoShare. Your practice will receive complimentary SMS credits and support from GoShare staff to guide you through the patient recall process.
Participating practices must use MedicalDirector or Best Practice software and be able to administer COVID-19 vaccines.
To participate in the recall activity, apply online. For further information email [email protected] or call 3864 7540.
New Interactive cardiovascular disease (CVD) report available for Primary Sense users
The new interactive cardiovascular disease (CVD) report is now available to practices using Primary Sense through the Practice Reports Dashboard. This report supports cardiovascular disease management in general practice as part of the ongoing statewide PHASES project.
Use the report to explore de-identified, practice-level data, including:
CVD assessments
patients at risk of CVD
clinical observations
demographics of practice patients with CVD.
The Practice Reports Dashboard also includes other interactive reports for your use, such PIP QI, vaccination, and diabetes.
If your practice doesn't yet have access to the Practice Reports Dashboard, please complete the short onboarding survey online or contact [email protected] for assistance with access and onboarding.
