Primary Sense and Halo Connect for BP Premier Users
Primary Sense has now transitioned to Halo Connect for Bp Premier users, replacing the existing direct database connection method to Application Programming Interface (API) Service.
Some practices may be experiencing some common errors since this transition. This Halo Connect Transition Basic Troubleshooting Steps guide is available to support if required.
What practices need to do:
Ensure that both the Primary Sense extractor and desktop applications are using the latest versions to avoid disruption to the API connection.
Check for updates:
Use the Primary Sense Desktop Application Instructions to update the desktop application. If the API PIN is blank during the update, refer to the Halo Connect Transition Basic Troubleshooting Steps guide.
Primary Sense extractor – Your IT Provider, or someone with administration rights and server access, can check in the Primary Sense Services Setup Application on the server where the extractor is installed by running the Verify Setup process. You should see the message ‘You are using the latest version of Primary Sense’.
If you require the latest version for the extractor or need further support with Primary Sense, please email [email protected]
