Metro South Health’s GP Smart Referrals ‘Request for Advice’ function is now live
Metro South Health have announced the launch of their new GP Smart Referral (GPSR) function, Request for Advice, designed to improve access to specialist advice for patients and their General Practitioners (GPs) by providing GPs with non-urgent written specialist advice. Written advice is expected to be provided within 5 business days.
This feature is now live with 4 initial specialties, and an aim to incorporate more services in 2025. These specialties are:
-
