Professional development resources for mental healthcare practitioners
The delivery of effective, person-centred mental healthcare can be enhanced through interconnected multidisciplinary teams of primary healthcare professionals. While not every practitioner has access to a multidisciplinary team of colleagues, digital resources and networks can help provide some of that expertise and guidance.
About the national Mental Health Professionals' Network
Resources from the Mental Health Professionals' Network (MHPN) aim to support professional, multidisciplinary connections by bringing together practitioners from across Australia's mental health and primary care sectors.
Funded by the Australian Government, MHPN works to strengthen collaboration between practitioners and support a more integrated mental healthcare sector through:
multidisciplinary networks
professional development opportunities
peer learning.
Make use of online training to develop clinical skills and knowledge while claiming CPD hours
The MHPN website hosts a range of free webinars, podcasts and educational events focused on evidence-based mental health practice that are claimable for self-reporting continuing professional development (CPD) hours.
