Please join us for a collaborative workshop designed for residential aged care homes in the Brisbane south region. The workshop will focus on lessons learned from ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred and on building resilience for future emergency events.

WHY ATTEND:
• Debrief on the impacts of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred
• Share experiences and best practices
• Strengthen your emergency and evacuation planning strategies
• Enhance your capability to deliver ongoing high-quality clinical care for residents
• Develop awareness and understanding of the functions of Local Disaster Management Groups
• Support your organisation to meet the strengthened Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards

Managers, clinical leads, and emergency preparedness coordinators, and any other interested staff from residential aged care homes in the Brisbane south region.

SPEAKERS: The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing and various speakers from across the State Government, Health, and Aged Care sectors.

Finish: 12:00 noon

COST: Free, morning tea will be provided
