Event Description:
Written communication is everywhere, and we all do it every day. This workshop will explore health literacy theories and practices and how to apply these to meet the needs of health consumers. The session will show how health literacy practices can improve communication with health consumers and provide tools to improve written communication for patients and clients.
This is an interactive session with small group activities that require a microphone and camera.

Primary care health workforce – Practice managers, providers of community and health services, anyone working in a healthcare setting
