Expression of interest now open: 3 new Medicare Urgent Care Clinics announced in our region

The Australian Government is investing in a further 50 Medicare Urgent Care Clinics (Medicare UCCs) throughout Australia, bringing the total number of Medicare UCCs to 137. This model of care aims to reduce pressure on hospital emergency departments (EDs).  

Submit your expression of interest (EOI) to become a Medicare UCC

Brisbane South PHN is now accepting expression of interest (EOI) applications for 3 new Medicare UCCs in the following identified areas: 

General practices and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services now have an opportunity to submit an expression of onterest (EOI) to become a Medicare UCC if they:

  • meet the minimum requirements set out in the Operational Guidance document

  • are located in the above priority SA3 regions.

Submit a completed application form and your EOI to tenders@bsphn.org,au by 2pm Thursday 4 September 2025.
