General Practice in Aged Care Incentive — Quarter 2 wrap-up session

The General Practice in Aged Care Incentive is a payment made to eligible providers and practices to support them in delivering health care to permanent residents of aged care homes. Providers and practices are assessed to determine if they are eligible to receive incentive payments through a quarterly assessment process. The second assessment quarter of the General Practice in Aged Care Incentive concluded on 31 December 2024.

At the halfway point of the first annual assessment period, general practice staff are encouraged to reflect on the progress their practice has made and review the resources available to support their ongoing efforts in providing quality care for aged care residents.
