Australian Immunisation Register: Important reporting requirements for all vaccines

Vaccination providers are reminded to report the route of administration for Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) vaccines and specify the 'vaccine type' for all vaccines.

It is mandatory to report the administration of influenza, COVID-19, NIP and JEV vaccines to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).

Vaccination providers must report the route of administration for JEV vaccines, and report the ‘vaccine type’ for all vaccines.

Choose 1 of the following vaccine types when entering your vaccine details:

  • NIP-funded
  • private
  • antenatal
  • state program vaccination.

Learn more about the reporting changes to AIR on the Queensland Health Website.
