PRIDE Project survey: Help shape an inclusive and affirming model of primary care
Brisbane South PHN is proudly partnering with University of Queensland (UQ) to support the Promoting queer-inclusive professional identities for diversity in primary healthcare (PRIDE co-design) Project.
Funded by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF), the PRIDE Co-design Project aims to enhance the delivery of inclusive and affirming models of care to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of the LGBTIQA+ community.
Phase 1 of the PRIDE co-design Project: Gathering insights from primary care professionals
Foundational to achieving the goal of delivering inclusive and affirming primary care is an understanding of the experiences of primary healthcare workforces.
Phase 1 of the Project requires insights from healthcare practitioners about their professional identity, workplace functioning, and their experiences of diversity-related norms in primary and allied health sectors.
The information captured in the survey results will help us to:
- understand the current LGBTIQA+ health landscape
- inform the next steps needed to enhance the uptake of the affirming care provision
- assist in the development of new and modified models of primary care and eLearning resources for primary and allied health professions.
Participate in the survey
The online survey takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
The survey includes items related to your workplace functioning, mental health and wellbeing, social identity, diversity norms, and your knowledge, skills and practice of caring for individuals who identify as part of the LGBTIQA+ community.
Upon completion of the survey, you will be eligible to go into a draw to receive a $200 voucher. You will be invited to provide contact details (email address), so you can be contacted in the event you are the prize winner. Survey responses will be stored separately to contact details.
