Future-Ready General Practice: Join us for dinner with experts in Primary Care Reforms

General practitioners are invited to join primary health reform experts, Dr Kirsten Meisinger and Dr Walid Jammal, for a dinner event to explore the changing general practice environment and learn practical approaches to patient population management, prevention, and health equity to shape the future of their practices.

Self-Paced Quality Improvement Activities for General Practice

Bicillin L-A shortage update

Please be aware that the shortage of Bicillin L-A 1.2 million unit prefilled syringes for injection (commonly used for the treatment of syphilis) has been extended to the end of October 2025.

Additional overseas-registered benzathine benzylpenicillin products have been approved.

Health professionals, carers and patients can learn more about the shortage of Bicillin L-A (benzathine benzylpenicillin tetrahydrate) prefilled syringe for injection, on the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) webpage.
