Join a remunerated GP focus group: provide feedback on Terminal Care Management Plan template

caring@home, a national palliative care initiative, is inviting general practitioners (GPs) to participate in a focus group to help shape a Terminal Care Management Plan template.

The template is being designed to support GPs with the delivery of high-quality end-of-life care.

The clinical insights you provide will help shape a valuable resource that supports compassionate, best-practice terminal care.

About the remunerated focus group sessions

Participants will be asked to provide feedback on the template’s content and usability. (A copy of the draft template will be provided to interested GPs before the focus group session.)

Focus groups will run for 60 minutes via Microsoft Teams, scheduled at a convenient time.

Each group will include up to 4 GPs and be facilitated by Professor Liz Reymond, Director of caring@home.

GPs will be remunerated $200 plus GST for their time.

caring@home wishes to advise that the information you provide will be treated confidentially and it, but not your identifying details, will be recorded and held temporarily on the Queensland Health information management system. This system is firewall-protected and administered using standard health sector security protocols. Your information from the focus group will only be used for the development of the Terminal Care Management Plan template for GPs. All documentation will be destroyed after the template has been developed (by December 2025).
