Our regional strategies are designed to guide commissioning, strengthen partnerships, and ensure services are responsive to the diverse needs of our communities.
Brisbane South PHN MHSPAOD Strategy 2024–2027
This internal strategy outlines Brisbane South PHN’s commissioning priorities and operational focus across mental health, suicide prevention, and AOD services. It reflects our commitment to equity, inclusion, and integrated care, and is informed by local health needs assessments and stakeholder engagement.
Brisbane South Joint Regional Suicide Prevention, Alcohol and Other Drug Plan 2025–2030
Co-developed with Metro South Health, this Joint Regional Plan sets a region-wide vision for improving wellbeing through integrated, person-centred care. It builds on the MHSPAOD Strategy and reflects extensive community engagement, aligning with national and state reform priorities. The Plan focuses on inclusion, cultural safety, digital innovation, workforce sustainability, and prevention.
Together, these strategies provide a roadmap for shaping a more connected, responsive, and impactful mental health and AOD system across Brisbane South.
